我們懷着沉重的心情告訴大家,Richmond Fellowship 的創辦人 Ms Elly Jansen於2025年9月13日與世長辭,享壽95歲。Elly在精神健康服務領域的終身奉獻深刻影響了無數的人,她的慷慨和同理心將永遠留在我們心中。
作為Richmond Fellowship的創辦人,她的願景提升了各地對精神健康問題的認識,激勵了許多人投身於這一重要事業,香港的利民會亦因此而生。Elly在發展社群式治療方面的創新貢獻,為精神健康服務帶來了新的希望和可能性,透過建立中途宿舍為許多正在復元的人士提供了安全的庇護,讓他們有機會重建自己的生活。
願我們秉承着Elly的精神與願景,透過利民會一直延續下去,永遠懷念她。謹此對她的親友致最深切的慰問。
In Loving Memory of Ms Elly Jansen, Founder of Richmond Fellowship
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ms Elly Jansen, the founder of Richmond Fellowship, who left us on 13 September 2025, at the age of 95. Elly's lifelong dedication to mental health services profoundly impacted countless lives, and her spirit of generosity and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.
As the founder of Richmond Fellowship, her vision elevated awareness of mental health issues worldwide, inspiring many to engage in this vital cause, which ultimately led to the establishment of the Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong. Elly's innovative contributions to the development of the Therapeutic Community model brought new hope and possibilities to mental health services. Through the establishment of halfway houses, she provided a safe haven for many people in recovery, allowing them the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
May we continue Elly's legacy and vision through the work of Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong, and she will forever remembered. Our heartfelt condolences are with her family and friends.
