Halfway Houses Joint Open Day
The halfway houses serve as a transitional place for the service users after they are discharged from the hospital. By residing in the halfway house for around 2 years, the service users are able to improve their daily living skills and prepare themselves for reintegrating into the community.
The interactions and connections between the service users and the community are of vital importance. To enhance the community's awareness of these services, a joint open day was held at the platform of Wong Tai Sin Lower Estate, with the aim of reducing the negative labeling and prejudice towards mental illness in the society.
