Asia Pacific International Mental Wellness Webinar 2022
Asia Pacific International Mental Wellness Webinar 2022
Recovering Citizenship (RC) is a relatively new concept in Hong Kong community mental health. RC is not simply recovery in the sense of ‘having a life’ but possessing the 5 R’s of Rights, Responsibilities, Roles, Resources and Relationships, and cultivating a sense of belonging to the community, as well as being recognized as having an equal status along with others.
In this webinar, we are very honored to have Dr. Michael Rowe, Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine and Principal Investigator of the Citizens Community Collaborative, to introduce the RC approach in mental health. Experience in local implementation of RC in Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong will also be shared with participants including people in recovery and their caregivers, peers, mental health service providers, social and healthcare professionals, and members of Richmond Fellowship overseas.
