Affection & Sex Counseling

Sex is a gift of mankind since our birth. Satisfied sexual life requires proper sexual functioning as well as satisfactory sexual feeling. Also, sex has a close relationship with one's emotion and behavior. Our daily life, psychological and mental health, and interpersonal relationship could be adversly affected by any sexual dysfunction as well as any disturbance that related to sex of ourselves.
With a view of the above mentioned consideration, the colleagues of Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong received specialized taining from the Florida Postgraduate Sex Therapy Training Insitute in the July of 2004 and started the 'Affection and Sex Counseling' project on October 2004.

Objective of the project:
Promote healthy sexual and affection life and help people to overcome sexual dysfunction and emotional distress through counseling, groups as well as public education.

      1.  Marriage and Sex Counseling
      2.  Sex Therapy
      3.  Sex Counseling
      4.  Sex Education
      5.  Referral

Form of Service:
1.Casework service
      Provide sex therapy and counseling to individual as well as couple.

2.Group work and activities
      Provide sex education and counseling in group.

3.Training & Workshop
      Provide training and education to enhance participant's knowledge about sex as well as awareness towareds different sexual needs of various groups in our societies.

4.Seminar
      Provide sex education for the public and those minorities in the community.

5.Hotline
      Answer question and deal with emotional distress related to sex as well as
      provide referral to those who need further intervention.

      (There would be therapist on duty from 7:00pm to 10:00pm every Tuesday
      and Thursday. Enquries that received at other time would be recorded by
       answering machine and would be replied as soon as possible.)
